It takes me hours to sleep at night because I always have to itch the inside of my ear because I imagine sensations of insects crawling into them. When there are bugs in my room I panic and try to calm myself down but always give in to sleeping downstairs. I always google things about insects to try and reassure myself but it never works. I can’t stand hearing any sort of buzzing noise or crawling noise, I’m maybe thinking I have a problem or is this a natural response to fear? I can also never sleep with the light on in fear that there is something maybe supernatural or a spider in the dark that I can’t see, I’m 18 and cannot sleep without a bright light on and all my wardrobe doors closed and my curtains closed. Also is this a problem?
